If there was any chance of braking a chain, I can imagine a not-a-tiny-climber, like Armstrong who generates huge wattage on those steep hill attacks he's famous for, would be a good candidate. I wonder what the real stats are regarding SRAAM chains, versus the perceived chances of a break. Everyone has anecdotes, but... Old school riders -- remember the last phase before threadless headsets? One of the last quill stems (until the track) I used was a super lightweight Synchros -- very cool in its early 90's day. They recalled every stem because of the possibility of "sudden, catastrophic failure." Yikes. I sent mine back and didn't use the replacement for very long...
