I am happy that I have taken maximum points so far, but disappointed that Chris has the same picks as me. I think my time difference is more reasonable. In the end I will be victorious, if I don't get kicked out for doping.

I'm not real happy about my time gap, either. Damn!

Win you shall not.

Sastre.... Sastre.... who was it that picked Sastre? Oh that's right, it was me. ;D Except that I still lost to Tiffany. And maybe Cunego wasn't the best choice.

So what did everybody think of the tour this year? Ok so this post is a week late, but nobody else other than Wrench had mentioned the win.
I liked the new format of no time bonuses, definitely kept all 3 weeks much more exciting. I didn't have a favorite going into the race, but I am glad Sastre held on through the time trial and finally earned his first TdF win. I was very impressed by Cavendish proving his new "fastest man in the world" title. I was also impressed by Christian Vandevelde's 5th place finish. I thought he rode very smart and it looks like if he keeps his fitness up, he'll make it an exciting American TdF next year. I'm ready for TdF 09. Especially with Johan Bruyneel's Astana team (or some variation of it).
