For those who've been asking about the Two Hours From Anywhere Race in Murphy, NC, here is the official word from the race organizer:
"I am sorry to say that our "Two Hours From Anywhere" bike race is not going to take place this year. Several factors are at fault, the main one being the road construction that is finally taking place and the second one is lack of sponsorships. We will be holding our 5K run and heart walk on the 16th of Sept, though. Thanks for your interest and we hope to be back on track in the 2007 year."
