I have a TV which is about 10 years old. The TV finally called it quits, and does not turn on. I am a strong proponent of recycling. Does anybody know of a local place that I can take this TV to be used for more than land fill fodder?

I believe you can take them to bestbuy or walmart...i would call first. the other thing you can do is give it to salvation army i believe they can fix them and give them to the less fortunate. Dont know but its worth a try. Or try calling your local county to see if they have a program. i know that down here they do.

Consider a man riding a bicycle. Whoever he is, we can say three things about him. We know he got on the bicycle and started to move. We know that at some point he will stop and get off. Most important of all, we know that if at any point between the beginning and the end of his journey he stops moving and does not get off the bicycle he will fall off it. That is a good life lession!

Try freecycle. You may find somebody who's handy with such things that'll want it as a fixer-upper.
