For your entertainment and ridicule, here are my 2007 cycling stats. I posted my 2006 stats last year. I rode a few hundred less miles this year, but I gained about 12,000' more elevation. Woohoo! Some interesting factoids are that I burned approximately 183 pounds worth of calories (almost equivalent to my 195 lb body weight), and gained just over 116 miles of elevation. I started road biking and keeping a log back in 2000, so I threw in my cumulative miles ridden since then for fun. If I only had logged all those miles on my BMX as a kid. ;D Let's all have a great 2008 on and off the bike.

Nice. Yeah down here in Roswell, GA it's surprisingly friendly to cyclists. I'm logging at least two hours on the bike and we have a group ride on Saturday mornings. That group ride does 40, 50, or 70 miles, and of course you are able to choose among the distances. Wild.

This is really interesting to look at. Makes me feel lazy, too.

Bravo! Usted es el hombre!
Not to take anything away from your success on the bike, but your graphs are top notch too! What did you use to generate them? Numbers from iWork?

My training log is an Excel workbook, so while I could edit it in Numbers on my new iMac, I actually did the graphs using Excel 2007. Just don't tell anybody I can run Windows on my Mac faster than Windows will run on my PC.

so you're saying your mac will help you add another 7500 miles by April or May right? I can't believe you only went for 204 rides, I took 205. And I thought you were hard core. Guess I was mistaken
