If you are reading this, I know you are passionate about bicycles. You have probably also seen the green colors of Team Globalbike in Road, Mountain, and CX events around the SE. However, you might not be aware that the true mission of the team is to raise awareness and promote the Globalbike Organization - a non-profit that supplies bicycles to specific projects in developing countries. These are places where the the main mode of transport is walking and bicycles take on a very important role for basic transportation. I haven't made an appeal on this forum in the past for your support, but now is the time for you to have a greater impact than usual. The Globalbike organization has been invited by the United Nations and Sport Accord to participate in the "Kilimanjaro Initiative" and I have been invited to go along as a representative of the team. This is an important opportunity for the organization to be internationally promoted by the documentary efforts of the initiative. We'll be delivering bicycles to two projects while being filmed, taped, interviewed by the initiative. This is a huge chance to expose the mission of the organization to a huge audience. I encourage you to take a few moments to learn more about the project bit.ly/dQGSxT and consider contributing bit.ly/ea0iifThanks Everyone! Josh Whitmore
