So I will be driving back up to school tomorrow. I'd like to know how the highways are. How about 441 going over Cowee mountain coming from Macon county into Jackson county. I'll be coming up 985 > 365 > 441 > 107 from Georgia.

The main/primary roads are fine. Some of the side/secondary roads, especially the north facing parts, are still dicey though.

Sounds good. As long as 441 and 107 are good. Thank you Scott.

I just drove from Atlanta to my place just this side of Cowee Mtn. Friday night. Roads are all fine. Have a safe trip.

The only thing you have to worry about in the Sylva-Cullowhee area is rust due to the layer of salt mixture on roads, which will take a heavy rain to wash off.

Yep, my car is going through the wash this week for sure. I low geared it down the Sylva side of Cowee mtn just to be safe.
