Hey all,
I didn't get any takers for my epic Hardcore 100 indoor century on NYE, but I didn't expect to. However.. that got me to thinking. If a bunch of us are riding indoors all winter, why not get together for a trainer night once a week? I used to do this with a few guys (and gals) back in Ohio and it was a great way to stay motivated.
I have a wide variety of the Spinervals DVDs, most ranging from 45 minutes to 90 minutes. And a few longer ones too. For a group session, I think the shorter ones make more sense. I have a 40" hi def, home theater sound, and space for about 4 trainers (including me) in my living room/kitchen. I also have a couple extra floor mats.
Anybody into doing this once a week in the evening? Any particular day better than others? I'm inclined to just go with Tuesday, since that's the regular ride day.

I'd like to get into this Dobo. I think any night would be good for me.

One so far. I'm going to be in Cleveland on business next week (oh goodie ) , but I'll send out an invite for the following week.

OK, things have definitely gone according to plan for me the last few weeks, but I'd still like to do a trainer night. I managed to get out for a good 2+ hour ride up to Balsam and back tonight, but tomorrow (Tuesday 1/26) looks to be a cold and possibly snowy day.
Anybody wanna do Spinervals at 6pm? I'd like to do about 50-60 minutes of fairly hard riding, with maybe a bit of extra spinning after. I've got three different DVDs in the range. Or we can ramp it up to the 90 minute Mental Toughness. (though it isn't all that mental)
Most of these workouts include Isometric Squats that require getting off the bike for short, but tough sets. If you're not into that the option is to stay on the bike and go hard in your 12(11).
I've got room for maybe four besides me.

Missed yer reply, but I'm usually heading into Asheville for one reason or another (usually beer) on Thursdays. If I don't go anywhere this week I'll send out an invite. I do these about 3 times a week, but the days vary.

I just don't have class on Fridays, so I think it would work best for a Thursday night for me, but let me know, and perhaps we can find a better night.
