I did a parkway ride from Sylva over to the REI in Biltmore Park (BRP from Balsam Gap to Rt.191/Brevard Rd. Beautiful day to see the fall colors. Here's a panorama of the Cullowee vista I stitched from 11 photos: www.clevr.com/pano/14880

Question: what software do you use for your image-stitching?

Nice picture. Looks like you got some great clarity that day. Question: what software do you use for your image-stitching? yeah, the visibility was awesome on the first half of the ride. As I got closer to Pisgah the cloud ceiling and visibility dropped significantly. At first I used the CleVR Stitcher App (CleVR is the website the pic is hosted on). But, I didn't like the way it tried to adjust the exposure on the individual frames. Then I found MS Image Composite Editor on the Microsoft Research website. It's a freebie for now: research.microsoft.com/en-us/um/redmond/groups/ivm/ice/Link to more pics: gallery.dobovedo.com/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=1182

Thanks, I'll give it a try. I use HP Photostitch, which came with a camera (or rather, I currently use HP Photostitch, subject to if ICE can do better ). If interested in a copy, PM me.
