As if I wasn't already tempted to buy a cross bike, that profile just makes me want one even more! Other priorities for the remainder '09 though. 2010 however...
Also makes me wanna go ride the Skyway. Anybody got plans to head that way anytime soon?

Did you put it up on the ABRC board? I can if you want me to. We are trying to drum up a cross bike for my buddy D. Some Karma's on my 29'r might be a smoother option than the cross bike.

Wayne, Will 39/27 do the job? We are trying to get some more guys over, but we might all show up on MTB's.

I rode it last yr with a 39-26 so that should work, depending on the rider. The start will be at the park where we had the cx race last year, Konaheeta park, across from the Pool and wellness center in Murphy we will ride by the school to ck if anyone parked over there, you can look at my orginal post and get the map for the start off the Garmin stats, we will start across the street from where we started last yr 706-502-9682 ?? A little late response but that was a great ride you put on! Especially the part (most of the ride) where you let it rain. Rain and gravel , do I need to say more? I took some heat of the guys I brought because I told them "nobody will show up" "and Hillbilly is terrible out of shape" and they end up on the start line with all those team jerseyed-shaven legs. We all held up good though, and boy am I glad I didn't take your advice "39/27 should be fine". I changed the road crank for a XTR with a 34T (5 minutes with octalink), and needed every tooth of that gear. Thanks to Troy for driving the support car. Now you call us next year, will you.
