Bringin a couple friends down this weekend. Just wondering if this route is descent on a weekend ?? scenic , rural, low cars. Haven't done it yet. Or are there any other big group rides down there this weekend???

That is a great 60-mile loop. It is the metric route that the Tour de Tuck uses. It is also mapped as the Cherokee-Waterrock loop on the Motion Makers web site. There is a cycling event on Saturday over in Franklin called the Ruby Ride. It is the first year and it looks to be a great route. It is sponsored by the Franklin Daybreak Rotary Club. As a Rotarian myself, I feel i should do it. Fortunately I really want to do it. www.therubyride.comHowever, if you do not want to pay to ride, there are many great routes to choose from on the MM site or make your own.
